Refund Policy

1. Our Commitment

At Akabi Design, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital solutions. We work collaboratively with every client to ensure satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may or may not be granted.

2. Deposits

All project deposits are non-refundable. The deposit covers initial planning, research, resource allocation, and the commencement of work. By paying a deposit, the client confirms agreement to the project scope and authorizes Akabi Design to begin work.

3. Refunds for Incomplete Work

If Akabi Design is unable to complete the project due to circumstances within our control, a partial refund of payments made beyond the deposit may be issued, proportional to the work not yet completed. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Client-Initiated Cancellations

If the client chooses to cancel a project after work has commenced:

  • Before 25% completion: Deposit is forfeited; no additional charges apply.
  • Between 25%–50% completion: Deposit forfeited; 25% of remaining balance due.
  • Between 50%–75% completion: 75% of total project fee is due.
  • After 75% completion: Full project fee is due regardless of delivery.

Project completion percentage will be determined by Akabi Design based on documented milestones and time invested.

5. Dissatisfaction

If you are not satisfied with a deliverable, we encourage you to request revisions within the revision period specified in your project agreement. Refunds are not issued for subjective dissatisfaction when deliverables meet the agreed specifications. We will always work with you to reach a satisfactory resolution.

6. Maintenance & Retainer Services

Monthly maintenance and retainer agreements may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable. No refunds are issued for unused hours within a retainer period.

7. Third-Party Services

Payments made to third-party services (domain registrars, hosting providers, stock assets, APIs, software licenses) on the client's behalf are non-refundable, as these are governed by the respective third-party's refund policies.

8. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method or bank transfer. Akabi Design reserves the right to deduct any bank transfer fees or transaction costs from the refund amount.

9. Disputes

Any disputes regarding refunds should be communicated in writing to akabisoufiane@gmail.com. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably within 10 business days.
